Thank you for your interest in GFWC Ossoli Circle. In 1885 our organization was established by Lizzie Crozier French, an important leader in Knoxville, Tennessee. Ossoli Circle is the oldest member in the South of the International General Federation of Women's Clubs.

GFWC Ossoli Circle is dedicated to community and world improvement through volunteer service. Members support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward peace and understanding. We have two outstanding programs, each Monday (September - May) relating to these topics.

My theme this year is "Reach out - Give a helping hand". No matter how small or how large the assistance may be, just be there. HonorAir Knoxville is my chosen project for 2017-2018. HonorAir Knoxville takes WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans from East Tennessee to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials built to honor their sacrifice - at no charge to the veteran.

As the members of Ossoli Circle work together at meetings and volunteer projects, we form lasting friendships. Please feel free to attend a meeting and see why Ossolites value our organization.
