On November 6, Wanda Sobieski, President and CEO of the Knoxville Suffrage Coalition held a press conference to update the public on the status the Suffrage Museum.  Wanda announced the closing on the building to be the site of the museum plus the purchase of the adjacent building  to increase the total space.  A large banner was dropped from the roof, revealing the design for the museum.  Mayor Indya Kincannon, City of Knoxville gave an address in support of the museum and the importance of persevering the role women played in the history of Knoxville and the Suffrage movement.
