Replacement Fund dollars are used to replace furnishings, operating equipment and systems, paint, and other needs that may arise pertaining to the Ossoli Circle clubhouse, which was built in 1933, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. This fund receives an income annually, as set forth in the Bylaws, from the operating budget of GFWC Ossoli Circle. Additionally, the income Replacement Benefit Party, goes directly into the Replacement Fund. This year the Replacement Benefit was held on October 23 in the clubhouse. A few additional money-making activities – e.g., silent auction and 50/50 raffle- were held to add to the donations and ticket sells. The Replacement Benefit Chair and her committee did an amazing job of creating a lovely enjoyable autumn atmosphere. Dazzling fall colors of orange, purple, red and yellow were woven throughout the clubhouse auditorium in decorations such as pumpkins, leaves, napkins and tablecloths. The luncheon consisted of comfort, nostalgic foods like chicken pot pie and apple dumplings. Prior to the luncheon, a fun game called “Where was this picture taken?” and a fashion show was thoroughly enjoyed.
