Summer has been busy around Ossoli Circle
We may take a break from the routine Monday meetings in the summer but work never stops. Many exciting things have been taking place. The most exciting happening is the front of our beautiful, historical Clubhouse is getting a much-needed facelift. Restoration work is still a work in progress, but you will be thrilled to see the results. Peek at some of the pictures.
The Unicorn Scholarship Banquet is always a treasure for members of Ossoli Circle. We had the opportunity to meet our four scholarship recipients as well as their families. They are so appreciative of our partnership and support. Ossoli Circle brochures were available at the registration table for anyone to pick up. Nine Ossoli Circle representatives were in attendance.
Ossoli Circle completed the first online auction which was very successful.
Carol and Glenn Hiers completed an amazing clean-up of the Ossoli gardens in front of our Clubhouse. Weeding, mulching and removing overgrown shrubs make our home-away-from home lovely. Thank you Carol and Glenn.
Susan French and Sherry Hillis combed through boxes of stuffed animals and made donations to the police department for officers to give to children to help ease anxiety during family problems involving the police.
Ossoli Circle donated over 37 purses, glass cases, wallets, tote bags to Mobil Meals for their Power of the Purse fundraiser. They are so appreciative of our support of their fundraiser. We are helping feed hungry, homebound seniors in our community.
Last but not least, PLANNING, PLANNING, and more PLANNING have been taking place to make the 2024-25 year spectacular.
