Ossoli in Action

OiA hosts an entertaining "Cowgirl" themed Bingo Party

The Ossoli in Action Committee seeks out needs in the community and develops a plan for the club to meet these needs from Ossoli projects and/or in conjunction with other organizations. This committee considers projects that the president requests Ossoli to support in addition to other projects as determined by the committee.  The Community Improvement Program falls under Ossoli in Action.  The President’s Project (Tennessee Alzheimer’s Association) and Women Empowering Women are the projects selected for 2022-2023.

A Bingo fundraising Party set the scene for an entertaining and exciting event. GFWC Ossoli Circle members arrived dressed as “Cowgirls” wearing a wonderful array of western attire.

This fabulous party made two very important presentations possible.  President Christmas and OiA Chair, Nancy Carmon awarded a check to Tennessee Alzheimer’s Association for $1000.oo and a donation to Women Empowering  Women for $600.  Ossoli Circle members are excellent examples of women working to improve their community.

Sara Dickson is presented with a check for $1000.oo for Tennessee Alzheimer’s Association by President Nancy Christmas and Nancy Carmon on behalf of  GFWC Ossoli Circle.
