“Springtime in Paris” was the theme for the White Linen Luncheon fundraiser supporting Ossoli Ways and Means was an overwhelming success. Luncheon co-chairs Nancy Carmon and Jeri Price were praised for their creativity and organization. The Ossoli Auditorium was transformed into a café in Paris. The room décor was beautiful, and the tables were filled with pastries, bread, and flowers. The Eiffel Tower was in full view and there was even a mime to help direct traffic to the photo booth. The group was thrilled to have an “Artist in Residence” painting during the luncheon. At the end of the luncheon Ossoli member Judy Penry was elated to be the winner of an Elizabeth Staub McKeever original painting. Before the luncheon was a spectacular fashion show from the Lily Pad Boutique in Sweetwater with Ossoli members as models. The fashion show revealed the latest fashions just in from Paris. In addition, there was a wonderful silent action that brought great interest, allowing members and guests to snag some great purchases. The highlight of the event was the epicurean luncheon provided by chefs Kimery Overman and Carmella Stair. The menu included Coq au Vin, Pommes de Duchesse, Asperses Carottes Juliennes, Salade, Pain et Beurre, and Patisseries. Bon Appetit!
Thank you to all Ossoli members who made this superlative event a day to remember.
