GFWC Ossoli Circle believes in the vision and works with Wesley House to help fulfill their goals. The Circle gets involved with their Seniors Programs (the Grannies Community Service Project), their Children’s Programs (Wesley House Community Service Projects under Advocates for Children) and supporting their fundraiser. The annual “Tablescapes” Fundraiser was held on February 22 in the Cokesbury Church. GFWC Ossoli Circle was well represented with 12 members supporting the event. Three members were responsible for tables at the event with one being purchased, decorated, and completely filled with Ossoli Circle members. There was an excellent silent auction.
Besides the Tablescapes fundriaiser, the group of seniors fondly referred to as the “Grannies and a GrandPa or two” made a visit to Ossoli Circle on Friday, March 14, 2025 for a Saint Patrick’s Day themed luncheon and bingo. The Grannies loved getting to chose a prize from the table. It was difficult to determine which group had more fun, the seniors or the Ossoli members! Wesley House provided the transportation, Ossoli provided the location and luncheon set-up including ham as the main course, and an Ossoli member’s Circle provided the side dishes for the meal. It was a great collaboration and a very successful day! See pictures from the day below.
